Timbavati Wildlife Park
If you have a love of exotic animals that you probably will not find in any other zoo, Timbavati Wildlife Park is for you! Lark Toys is way more than just a toy store. It is a toy museum, restaurant, book store, and candy shop. You will see llamas and pot belly pigs as you play mini golf or ride the hand carved, wooden carousel. National Eagle Center
Would you like to stand next to a bald eagle? If your answer is “yes,” then you need to venture to the National Eagle Center. They will answer questions like just how big is an eagles nest, or how strong is an eagle’s talon. Click Here for more information.
Henry Vilas Zoo
This just may be one of Wisconsin’s best zoos, and is my favorite simple day trip. The best part is there is no admission fee. The zoo is run entirely on donations, so they do ask for a goodwill offering when you visit. They have numerous animals, but my personal favorite are the polar bears. Click Here for more information.
